The go to fabric for summer is always linen! It is a versatile look that is lighter for the warmer months. At any age, linen is perfect dressed up or down for summer.

Linen is made from the flax plant. It provides great breath-ability because it doesn't cling to the skin. Linen dresses, tunics, and tops are perfect while traveling in the summer time. 

The worst part about linen - wrinkling. Best way to combat this is to make sure your linen pieces fit extremely well, the less material that gathers the less wrinkles you have. Another trick is to wash the clothing with a tennis ball like you would sheets. The tennis ball acts as a fabric relaxer to release wrinkles. 

Flowy linen tops pair great with structured denim. Grab a pair of sandals and a wide brimmed hat for running around on the weekend or wedges and a statement necklace for the night!
